“I am an accomplished artist whose love of the islands and the sea is reflected in my art. I work in oil, acrylic, watercolour, pencil, charcoal, pastel, etc. to evoke images of the beautiful seascapes, landscapes and tropical foliage of the islands.
“I am basically a self-taught painter, with a few art courses in college. My paintings have been exhibited in business and government institutions, I have participated in various community and charity events, and am an award recipient. I have held workshops and taught painting in oil, acrylic and watercolour at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, Mariana Islands, the East Hawaii Cultural Center, and at my home in Hilo, Hawaii.

“My husband and I came to the Pacific islands thirty years ago and realized that Hawaii would be our home. We have traveled extensively throughout the Pacific and have lived in the Mariana Islands, Eastern Caroline Islands and in the Hawaii Islands. I have done quite a bit of scuba diving in the Pacific and am fascinated and mesmerized by the “other-world” aspects of the sea. I have found the underwater world, as well as living in the islands, to be a wondrous source of inspiration for my art and for my life.”
