“We will be using symbols and the Hawaiian language to share the message of “Lokahi,” which is essential for manifesting a “Honu World.”

“Celebrating our 15th year in business, we feature many of Hawaii’s most collected artists. Featured in the New York Times as ʻThe gallery to see while in Hilo.ʻ Come and experience the Aloha and Beauty of our collection and our friendly staff.”

Suzan Starr

Gallery Owner and Artist.

Gallery: Dreams of Paradise Gallery. Established in 1992 (see above location)

I have been painting for over 20 years. My passion is for the beauty of the Hawaiian Islands. I love to paint landscapes, seascapes, and waterfalls depicting the spiritual beauty of these magical islands we call Hawai’i.

I am a cancer survivor, now 13 years. I give all of my thanks for all the blessings in my life to Keakua, the one and only God of the multiple Universes of our existence. He/she is the true artist in my life who guides me in everything I do, especially with my creative process.

I hope the viewers of our “Story Teller” Honu will receive a sense of peace and love as they stand before our completed sculpture.
